IAQ

infrequently asked questions

1. Do I really need a wedding planner?

YES! You really do.  From set up to clean up, a wedding planner is there to handle all the details to drama.  A wedding planner is definitely one expense you don't want to skip on.  If you don't know who to choose, contact us and we can connect you with some of the local pros!

2. Do I need to offer a FULL Bar?

NO! We are on board with less is more.  Leave the full bar to the after party! We suggest offering two delicious and fun signature cocktails with mix and match ingredients, two to three beer options, one red wine and one white wine.

This menu gives your guests plenty of options, while not breaking the bank or ending up with a ton of alcohol left over.

3. What do you think about glassware?

We provide a high quality clear plastic that does not offend any aesthetic (no opaque ridged cups in our packages).

We understand that glassware over plastic adds a touch of elegance to any event.  If glassware is a deal breaker for your event, we suggest using a one glass for all beverages.  A stemless wine glass is the best option.  Ordering multiple different glass styles and sizes, not only is costly, but will take up a lot of storage space, potentially causing issues to your bar service.

In our opinion, we think this is an expense you could skip.

4. Should we rent a bar through BayShore?

Yes! Our bars aren’t just visually stunning—they’re intentionally designed for seamless service. Each one is custom-built by us with the exact storage and workspace needed to keep everything organized and efficient behind the scenes. The result? Faster service, smoother flow, and a setup that looks just as good as it performs.

Providing the high-quality experience BayShore is known for is our top priority. To ensure that standard, we ask that you trust our process and recommendations when it comes to bar setup:

  • Table or whiskey barrel bars are not permitted for guest counts over 75

  • Two bars are required for events with more than 150 guests

  • A BayShore bar rental is required for events exceeding 150 guests

Note: Some venues offer built-in bars that are fully functional—in those cases, a rental may not be necessary. We’ll guide you accordingly.

Don't skip this expense.

5. Do we need to extend our reception?

No! A 4 to 5 hour reception is the perfect amount of time to celebrate. You want to end on a high note, with the majority of your guests still in attendance!

Definitely an expense we think you can skip.
